Brooker Creek Elementary Second Grade Supply List
Welcome to Brooker Creek Second Grade! Teachers are excited about the new year, just as students and parents are!
We know you will be eager to get supplies for your child. Here is a list of necessary materials: 2 pkgs. notebook paper (wide ruled) 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled) at least 12 pencils 12 glue sticks 1 pair of scissors 1 box 16 -24 crayons box(es) of tissues 1 one and a half in. white binder with clear view pocket in front NO ROLLING BACKPACKS, due to safety concerns. The items below would also be very helpful to our classroom: *Unscented baby wipes * Liquid hand soap * Ziploc bags (quart and gallon size) * Hand Sanitizer (8oz. – 12 oz. pump bottles only please) |
Third Grade 2011-2012 |
The following items are requested for your child's third grade year: - 1 set of 3-prong, 2 pocket plastic folders (red, blue, green and yellow), please no names on folders - 2 packs of loose-leaf paper (wide ruled) - 2 boxes of #2 pencils (2-12 count) - 1 box of washable markers with fine tip (1-12 count), 24 pack crayons and colored pencils (1-12 count) - 4 glue sticks - 2 spiral notebooks - 1 package of baby wipes Required for Writer's Workshop - 1 composition notebook Optional items that we would be grateful to receive are: - 1 box of tissues - 1 box of pint-sized Ziploc bags (girls) - 1 box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags (boys) - 1 bottle of antibacterial soap Plastic folders are necessary for durability. They will not have to be replaced during the year. These can be found at Office Depot, Staples, Walmart, etc. It will be beneficial to shop early for these folders. Your child should bring his/her supplies to school when you meet the teacher on Friday, August 19th from 2:00-3:00. this will be a great help to us! Thank you!

Fourth Grade 2011-2012 |
~Daily Writing Supplies Pencils, markers, color pencils and or crayons to be kept in a zippered pouch (no pencil boxes please). 2 packs of Notebook paper 4x6 lined index cards ~Spiral Notebooks 4 spiral, 1 subject notebooks (70 pages or more) ~Plastic Folders (plastic will last all year) Folders need to have pockets and prongs to assist with organization. Colors needed are red, blue, green, yellow and purple. ~ 1 Marble Composition Notebook This will become the children’s writers’ notebook and will be covered ~Healthy Classroom Needs Kleenex

Fifth Grade 2011-2012 |
All teachers will be in their classrooms on Monday, August 23rd, 2010 for 2-3pm so that parents and students will be able to Meet their Homeroom Teacher before the 1st day of school on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010.
Due to space issues in the portables, no rolling backpacks will be permitted.
